Wanting to manage social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, myspace, for small businesses in my local area. What is an acceptable charge for part-time "free lance" work of that nature? A flat monthly fee? A package deal for multiple site management? Is there a market for this type service?

GMC (Global Machinery Company) Pressure Cleaners are rubbish?

Just thought I warn people about GMC pressure cleaners. The lance burst, after 12 uses and GMC were hopless. This applies to products sold in Australia.
GMC told me to go to a local hardware store and have them order the new. I did as they advised, only to be told that GMC don't carry spare parts so too bad.
Customer service from GMC was disgraceful. I was told to buy a Karcher, as they supply parts even for their cheap models. Be Warned.

You will be getting in the same problem with karcher..thier products as well are usually trash..go for Generac brand...and get an ohc powerwasher..not the little electric..or engines that are like a common lawn mower..they will not last long ..overhead cam (ohc) are the best..I would spend the extra 150.00 and get one that will last 8 or 10 years

Will putting performance parts on an automatic mustang be as noticable as on a manual?

Just wondering if putting performance parts on a mustang will have as much if any affect on a mustang compared to a manual mustang.
My mustang is a 2008 v6 and I was planning on getting a dual cat-back exhaust system.

The real question is whether you're actually putting performance parts on the car.

If you're thinking intake, headers, exhaust, muffer, crap like that, that's not "performance". Whether it's an auto or manual, you'll barely notice it either way.

Otherwise, unless the auto is HIGHLY detrimental to the car, and causes a huge loss of power....nope, you shouldn't notice a thing between it and a manual.

Stainless Steel Aircraft

is there a interaction between steel and stainell steel?

i have a aircraft .. it is all aluminum.. if you put brass and aluminum together.. you get a reaction.. that causes the two metals to chemically change.. i am wondering if you put stainless steel together with plain steel .. would there be any reaction ... they call the first reaction electrolisis.. that is between brass and aluminum..

Yes, but it will be a slower reaction. Any two dis-similar metals have a voltage difference between them. When the metals are dis-similar enough and reactive enough, then corrosion occurs quickly. If the metals are less reactive (like gold) or very similar in electrical potential, the corrosion will be slow.

Carbon steel and stainless have similar potentials and the SS is fairly unreactive. But there is a difference in their electrical potential and in most environments, the mild steel with be sacrificial to SS. i.e. the MS will rust while the SS won't change. In a salt water environment, that will happen fairly quickly. In a dry environment, all these effects are very slow, because it is water that "completes the circuit" which causes one metal to oxidize while the other is reduced.

All of which gets very critical in an airplane. If it is a certified aircraft, check with an A&P mechanic about what fasteners are allowed. If it is an experimental airplane, check with the manufacturer of the kit or with your local Experimental Aircraft Assoc = EAA (www.eaa.org) chapter for standard practices.

Own Volvo S40 with a bad cat. Will computer recognize aftermarket part and turn off check engine light?

Mechanic has advised me that if I use an aftermarket cat converter that the sw in the computer will not recognize the part. The check engine light will remain on. Is this true? If it is, is there a way around it?

How to remove ceramic part of spark plug out of engine without taking apart everything?

The entire half of the ceramic part of the spark plug fell into the engine while i was changing the plugs. I was hoping there is a cost affective way to hopefully get it out WITHOUT taking the engine apart, even though i doubt it. If you have any ideals PLEASE HELP!!!! I hate when things like this happen to me, I should i just taken it in.....

I believe the end of the ceramic part of the spark plug has metal on it. You could check one of the other (whole) spark plugs to see if it is magnetic. If it is, use a magnet to fish it out. Don't lose the magnet. That would be very hard to get out.

What headset is the best for pilots? are Pooleys worth buying?

Need a decent pair of aviation headsets, been training with flight school used ones which dig in to my ears and in result headache. need a decent pair for my solo? so many choices to make

There are basically 3 types of headsets,

Basic headset:
-Cheapest
-Bog standard headset

ANR headset: (I use this one - did my solo on Saturday too )
-Mid range-expensive
-These are Active Noise Reduction headsets, they are electronic and reduce noise from the engine and often have better fit and microphone. Ipods may sometimes be connected too.

BOSE headset:
In a league of its own, only buy this one if your gonna be flying for the rest of your life or your very rich...
ANR, light, good mic, good fit, ipod adapter, long lifetime...

If you are staying PPL, I would recommend the Basic models or a cheap ANR one
