Looking for a WWII DVD?

Several months ago I saw a program on BBC America (I THINK) about French women during WWII who had relationships with Nazi soldiers. I can't remember title, I've searched various websites (BBC America, History Channel, A&E) and found nothing that sounds right. Did ANYONE out there see that show besides me? If so, do you remember what it was called?
It wasn't a movie. It was a documentary with real little old French ladies (or their daughters, if the old French ladies had died) who had really been involved with Nazi soldiers. No actors involved.

Please help me find a good WWII documentary for my kids?

I homeschool. Middle school to almost high school aged kids. We will be finishing our WWII studies shortly and I'm looking for a historical documentary that basically will tell the WWII story from beginning to end in a short amount of time. I understand that The World at War series is excellent, but don't want to spend the time watching 11 discs. I'm looking for a dvd where it tells all in a few hours, just to recap what we've learned. I found WWII: In Color and was wondering if that is what I'm looking for even though it receives very low ratings. Any other/better documentary you could recommend? I would really appreciate any help/advice.

In any military throughout history, have there ever been any Lone Wolf missions?

In any military throughout history, have there every been lone wolf missions? Where a single highly trained soldier sneaks into enemy territory to complete a mission? Or are they always teams?
I'm asking for specific examples, not a YES/No answer

The OSS often parachuted into enemey territory alone.

The cloest operation I know of is,

During vietnam, a Air Force pilot, who had been assigned to SAC and knew our nuclear plans, was shot down behind the lines.

They sent a US Seal and a Vietnamese Seal into get him out.

They actually made a movie about it.

I'm reading the December 1969 National Geographic, and in the article about the recent Apollo 11 moon mission,?

they very clearly go over the last minute 1201 and 1202 alarms, and quote Armstrong as saying "That's one small step for A man, one giant leap for mankind", not "..one small step for man..". These two tidbits of information have been gone over in recent years as if they are newly revealed or controversial, and I expect for us to see them framed this way again on June 20th. Maybe people interested in NASA, Apollo and the like will stop obsessing over 40 year-old details once and if it becomes clear the US is going back to the moon. I hope we do, and before the Chinese. How about you?

You raise an important point. A lot of fake "controversy" has come up over the years about things that were well known at the time. Take the "waving" flag planted on the Moon, for example. I have seen some conspiracy theorists claim that this is proof that the Moon landing was faked, since a flag couldn't wave on the Moon. However, at the time it was widely known that the flag was stiffened with wire so that it would give the appearance of "waving".

As far as returning to the Moon is concerned, I'm all for it. We've stumbled a lot in recent years and when you stumble, you tend to look down at your feet. It's time to lift our gaze again.

That said, I'm not too concerned who does it. The Moon landing was really a 21st century event that happened in the 20th century for political reasons. Considering the primitive computers at the time it is amazing that it worked at all. Let's start exploring the Solar System as representatives of the species and not just one nation.
